A-SIT’s expertise in information security has increasingly been sought for by public administration, but also by the private sector. To meet this increasing demand, A-SIT Plus GmbH has been established in July 2015 as a limited company. This has given an organisational separation of duties between formal responsibilities of A-SIT in advising the public sector, and commercial activities in projects that are  carried out by A-SIT Plus GmbH. A-SIT Plus GmbH is 100% owned by the non-profit association A-SIT.
